The SKYDISPLAY HUD provides me with the same level of information that I am used to in a HUD. It is incredibly impressive. For the last three years I have been fortunate to be flying a HUD in both the Falcon 900 and the Falcon 7X business jet aircraft and it is a tool that I use every single time that I fly.
SKYDISPLAY is almost identical to the hud i fly in business jets.
The HUD is an amazing tool for situational awareness. Because your head gets to be outside the cockpit I spend more of time looking out the window then I would looking down at the instrument panel at the glass screens in front of me.
This is especially true in general aviation aircraft where we operate in airspace where there a whole bunch of aircraft in a small area.
